This is one of the most beautiful parks we’ve stayed in. The lake was gorgeous. The power is on generator and wasn’t very stable, our surge protector kept shutting off when the power dropped to low. There are fire rings but BC had a province wide fire ban while we were there. The site are terraced some of group over 40 foot had a hard time getting out. The campground is on a hillside that slopes down to the lake. The owners have created terraced sites down the hillside allowing all a view of the lake. There are 30 sites, 15 are full service pull-through, 8 are EW pull-through, and 7 are unserviced.

Not the maintenance and general upkeep, which still seem good, but the general condition of the units more than one per site in some cases that now seem to occupy a good portion of the park, and the fact that a very high percentage of people here are full time working folks. There really don’t seem to be any rules here! The park itself is still being well maintained at this time, and we may well give it one more go, but if there is no improvement on these issues, we will not likely keep trying.

Just think there should be some truth in advertising here The worst was a new cable setup requiring a cable box. Our internal connections are all hidden and we were not prepared to do major alterations for one stay. Eventually we found a solution that was at the best workable. A better system is needed. About as bad is the park’s lack of rules. There is no quiet time nor limit to vehicles, RVs, tents and people per site.

On the weekend the locals arrive to sit, drink, talk loudly, and ignore their kids. There is no playground, so the streets and green areas are alive. The locals have booked the best sites for party weekends, which then sat empty on weekdays. On the other hand, the staff are helpful and pleasant.

Some campgrounds have discriminated against us staying at their campground because our unit is too old. Anything over 10 years is consider out of date. Some of these campgrounds should take a look at what they are offering, which is not much. So far we have been very lucky at Walmart, rest areas and truck stops.

Fax Hour: Over time just the flexing of the body may have broken the seal between the cap and the skin allowing water to get under the cap and to leak into the body. Remove and reapply or reseal. In a heavy rain feel your inside walls below the aluminum seam inside and if you feel dampness water on the wall you have a leak somewhere above. Also check the walls where they meet the floor and check for dampness. Walls feel cold and not sure if it is dampness or coldness you are feeling, use a Kleenex Tissue which will quickly reveal rather it is dampness or coldness you are feeling.

This is conveniently located on the Trans Canada Highway just east of Sicamous. Being so convenient there was highway noise but that does die down late in the evening. Also not too far from the obligatory railroad but that didn’t cause us any problem. Check-in was relatively painless even though we had no reservation. The receptionist was fairly new and under instruction but she did a good job and was pleasant.
